Required Lab Work and EKG
In order to participate in this medically based weight loss program, we request that you complete the following labs prior to your first one-on-one meeting with the physician.
Executive Weight Loss Profile $120
Complete blood count, liver, kidney, thyroid, cholesterol, uric acid, electrolytes, urinalysis, blood sugar, fasting insulin and HgA1C.
This price for the Executive Weight Loss Profile is greatly discounted and would cost $700 or more dollars at regional labs. The labs are a vital part of the program to help diagnose and treat each individual patient. Labs are drawn at LabCorps in Port Royal.
Because we are ordering a broad screening of labs specifically for weight loss, they will not be covered by Medicare or most insurance companies.Patients participating in a VLCD diet will need frequent monitoring of their kidneys and liver and electrolytes during the weight reduction phase as well as more frequent EKGs.
EKGs need to be completed prior to starting the weight loss program.
